My First Google Meetup! - Photoshoot

Hey everyone!

I know I missed a week or two, but I am back after having a cool experience using Google meetup. I've mentioned at the beginning of the year some of my goals for 2019, you can find the post here. One of the goals I set for myself is to work towards overcoming my social anxiety.

I’ve always been a bit of a shy person. It can take me a long time to warm up to people and actually become comfortable speaking freely. That being said, I challenged myself this year to become involved in situations outside my comfort zone. My first for the year happened this past weekend (4/13/19). I went to Google Meetup and found an event to attend, the Spring Portrait Meetup 2 weeks before.

Cut to the morning of the meetup and I’m a ball of excitement and nerves. Making initial contact is the hardest part. So, walking up to the people, introducing myself and starting a conversation are the worst for me. Anyhow, I got to our location and went up and asked if the few people already gathering were for the meetup and honestly, it all went uphill from there. I had such an amazing time! Theo the event organizer (IG- fstopkiller7) invited a bunch of models for us to photograph and they were all soooo good! Super friendly and chill and professional.

Well, I’m sure you’re here for the photos so without further adieu.. I present Spring portrait Gallery.

I hope you all enjoy the photos and look forward to posting many more!! So stay tuned! I also post on my IG so feel free to check that out as well IG: Michelhelligar ^^

Till Next Time

XOXO
